Our diverse product line includes games, puzzles, brainteasers, arts and crafts activities, mysteries, mazes and more. Our goal is to place high quality toys that teach and entertain into the hands of children and adults. MindWare was started by our founder, Jeanne Voigt, in 1990 with a small retail store in the Uptown area of Minneapolis. From there, the company evolved into a direct mail order catalog. In 2006, MindWare mailed 16 million catalogs to consumers and educators throughout the United States and the United Kingdom.

Over the years, MindWare has been dedicated to developing its own line of high quality products that were initially offered exclusively in the MindWare catalog. Our first product, Bella’s Mystery Deck, which debuted in 1997, is still a best-seller ten years later. In 2001, after countless requests from retail stores, MindWare started offering its line of products to independent retailers. Our commitment to developing new products for the specialty toy and education market is unwavering. MindWare products have received many prestigious awards over the years including Parents' Choice, iParenting Media, Oppenheim Toy Portfolio, Dr. Toy and Mensa Select to name a few. In 2006 we released more than 25 new products!
